A Delta IV Heavy rocket launched from Vandenberg Air Force Base in California today carrying a secret payload. The payload is a top-secret spy satellite belonging to the US National Reconnaissance Office.

The National Reconnaissance Office has customers like the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and the Department of Defense (DoD), and can warn of potential trouble spots around the world, help plan military operations, and monitor the environment.
This is the largest rocket ever launched from the West Coast of the United States. The launch was pushed back two minutes to avoid an object in space that could have been in the path of the rocket … no details on what that “object” was.

The U.S. Military launched a robotic space plane, called the X-37B . This rocket is highly classified and shrouded in secrecy. Exactly what is it for? I know my mind runs rampant with all types of possibilities especially in light of what Ed Grimsley has seen in outer space with his Night vision goggles. Ed has seen battles between unknown aircraft in the night skies since he was a teenager.
Being that this is a “military” space craft and not part of our routine runs to the space station, it may have weapons on board. For what? To shoot down asteroids? To shoot at things on the ground from outer space? Or to shoot at other space craft in or close to our planet. Well, I guess it’s nice to know they are trying to protect us … but from what?
