In this interesting article by Nicholas Ciarelli on The Daily Beast we see that the credit card companies are now using psychological profiling to predict your spending habits, possibility of missing a payment (even before you have missed one) and even an impending divorce.
Credit card companies are trying to stay one step ahead of your future using predictive modeling. It’s a little too close for personal comfort in my opinion and, frankly, an invasion of privacy.
