1. Research: Your research is the most important step in finding the proper product to promote. You will save time and money if you do it right. Finding a the right niche, the right product, is the and most significant component to achieving success. Don’t be afraid of competition. If a product has competition it means that there’s money in that niche. Find a niche that you are interested in. Then find products on Clickbank in that niche that you want to promote.

After your niche research you will want to do some keyword research. Start by grabbing some relevant keywords by using Google’s own keyword tool. Choosing the second option - “Website Content” on the Google Adwords Keyword Tool, you can typein the domain of the product you are promoting and it will generate relevant keywords for you.

Then you can take a few of those and plug them back in with the radio button for the first option checked descriptive words or phrases and it will expand your keyword lists some more. You can then download the list as a Txt file or CSV. Also use some of the other Keyword Research tools provided in this blog at top of the page.

2. Domain and Hosting. Once you have decided on a niche and researched some relevant keywords, you should invest in a relevant domain name and hosting for your website. For me I use BlueHost which gives you the domain name free with the very affordable hosting package. Plus they have all the tools you need to get your website up and running in a professional manner. When choosing your domain name it is a good idea to use a relavant keyword in the name.

3. Your website Landing Page: Create a website with a simple review of the product you are promoting. Use a headline that grabs attention and use your keywords within the copy of the page. Be sure to make it natural and interesting. Keywords repeated over and over in text that doesn’t make sense will not only get you slapped by Google, but won’t make any sales defeating the whole purpose. Also, be sure to cloak your affiliate links on your landing page as it will improve your conversions.

4. Addition Income: Set up your Adsense ads within your website. Go to Adsense and determine the size and colors you want to use then get the code and insert it into your website html.

5. Promotion: Using Adwords is easy. Log into your Adwords account, use the keywords from your research, plug them in and tweak the settings. Choose a low daily budget to start off with, but set the max cpc to the price that is higher then what google recommends to obtain the highest ad spots. You want to be in the proven hot spots which are spots 1 through 3. You can gradually decrease your bid over time while maintaining a high CTR.

After you ad has run a few days keep tweaking and refining your campaign to make it convert higher. You can lower your ad spend and get the maximum amount of traffic possible for the keywords that are converting.

6. Take advantage of Google Analytics. Get the code and place it on your site. It will help determine which keywords are converting to sales.

7. Article/blog/squidoo submissions: Use these for additional promotion by including your keywords in your article title, in your first few paragraphs, and in variations throughout your article. But don’t use all of them, use a maximum of 5-10. You can write 10 articles, and focus every 2 articles around a different group of keywords. Always put a link to your website in the author box with an engaging call to action.
Here is a list of places to submit articles:

Forums are also a great way to promote your website or affiliate links in your signature link. When you sign up to a forum, go to your profile and account sections to create a signature link. Remember, NEVER spam the forums. Make relevant posts in the forum and you will be more respected and get more clicks on your signature link. Forum ethics are important, you want to build a good rep and never ever just spam a product. Post to popular topics, and respond to the busiest posts every day.

Start a BLOG on your subject and include links to your affiliate website or product. You can get a blog for free and the search engines love them.

Squidoo is another excellent resource and you might even get addicted. Use Squidoo to write about your affiliate product and include links.

Good Luck!

A new product, GOOGLE GOGGLES is now available that makes Adwords profitable again. It takes the mystery of the Google Slap away. Google Goggles is the come back kid and promises the return of easy Adwords money. It’s simply amazing.

If you have a website, if you are an affiliate marketer, or if you market your own products online you want Google Goggles. Remember the good old days when Google cash was flowing freely? Then you remember the good times.

You used to be able to put up a halfway-decent Adwords ad, link it directly to your affiliate landing page, and you’d make automatic sales 24/7 and turn a profit! If you were able to copy and paste links from ClickBank, you were in business!

But then, as early as 2006, things turned horribly wrong… for us, and 80% of all other Google advertisers! We, and thousands like us, woke up to $1, $5, or $10 minimum bids for our campaigns!

That was Google’s passive-aggressive way of saying, “Pal, with those lame ads, pointing to those lame landing pages, we don’t want your business.”

But what if there was a way to turn back the time, and jump right back into the Google cash game, as if nothing had happened? What if there was a surefire way to not get slapped again ever? What if you could go ahead and put up Adwords campaign after Adwords campaign… while being absolutely sure that your campaigns will turn a profit right out of the gate?

GOOGLE GOGGLES has turned back time, it transports you to the pre Google Slap. Google Goggles is a tool for Adwords Advertisers and Search Engine Optimizers that determines the Google Quality Score (QS) of a landing page upfront…

* BEFORE you spend a dime on Adwords clicks
* and BEFORE you waste a single minute on building backlinks and all the other dreadful work that goes into SEO!

Just put on your magic goggles and see Google’s view of your PPC ad, your keywords, and your landing page! If you had Google Goggles to put on before you start a new campaign, it would give you superpowers in the pay-per-click game… powers that nobody else has, especially your competitors!

You could take Google’s “slap factor” –the dreaded quality score– right back out of the equation like it’s early 2006 again! (And make cash just like anyone used to!)

* Not only does it allow you to know in advance if your campaign will be a stinker, or a goose that lays golden eggs…
* …it even makes specific suggestions as to what to tweak, in case it determines that your campaign won’t fare as well as you had hoped to, so you can, in actuality, still make it profitable right there and then!
* Google Goggles guarantees a higher Quality Score & no more Google Slaps.
* Google Goggles is more than a Quality Score analysis tool… it’s a complete business opportunity!

Check it out for yourself. Put on a pair of Google Goggles and SEE CLEARLY. Just follow this link to GOOGLE GOGGLES.

Using affiliate marketing can make you fast cash working from home by using your writing skills. Using Clickbank, to select a product to promote, making a landing page or blog you can promote and sell products. To promote your website, blog or landing page, use the secret of article writing.
Write articles to provide value to your readers. Tell them why they should buy the product with a review or recommendation.

The point of writing articles is to provide the readers with useful content. The article does not have to be long, in fact, keeping them under 500 words or even less makes them an easy read.
An article that is short and straight to the point is an effective article.

A good way to promote your niche website is by writing articles and start promoting a product in your article. By using the resource box or author box and including a call-to-action at the end of your article you can put a link to your review of the product or directly link to the products sales page with your unique affiliate link.

Today I want to write about frustrations. Yes affiliate marketing can be frustrating. The secret to affiliate marketing really is finding the right product to promote. Not only a product that will sell, but one that you are interested enough in to continue your efforts in promoting it. That is the importance of being earnest.

Longevity in promoting affiliate products can soon wane, if you are not interested in the subject matter. Sometimes it’s just best to take a break and see if the efforts you have put in so far are paying off. But don’t break for too long, you have to continually update, advertise and find new sources of promotion. Most affiliate products, after all, are being promoted by others and to keep an edge on the market you need to continually be on top of your game.

As mentioned in other posts, after you have set up your landing page that leads to the affiliate product sales page, you need to promote promote and promote some more.

The best ways of promoting? Adsense, writing articles, using social bookmarking, press releases, joining forums and promoting in your signature line, squidoo lenses, classified advertising, leaving comments on blogs that are similiar to your subject matter … and the list goes on.

It’s hard work and very time consuming. But if you continually put in effort and don’t get frustrated, you will reap rewards.

Using tags are not just for blogs but also web pages. Tags are much like keywords. They tell your visitors (including the search engine bots) what your articles, post or web page is about. Think of it as a shopping list that categorizes the main keywords about your article, blog post or web page. It’s like a small summary put into words about what your post, article or page relates to.

Using tags is a tactic that will help you get listed in search engines. It’s also great for Web 2.0 bookmarking such as Digg, Technorati, Stumble and similiar social bookmarking sites.

Wordpress makes tags convenient when posting to your blog. Wordpress has integrated the tag into the platform. So if you are blogging with Wordpress be sure to take advantage of the “TAGS”.
