Using tags are not just for blogs but also web pages. Tags are much like keywords. They tell your visitors (including the search engine bots) what your articles, post or web page is about. Think of it as a shopping list that categorizes the main keywords about your article, blog post or web page. It’s like a small summary put into words about what your post, article or page relates to.
Using tags is a tactic that will help you get listed in search engines. It’s also great for Web 2.0 bookmarking such as Digg, Technorati, Stumble and similiar social bookmarking sites.
Wordpress makes tags convenient when posting to your blog. Wordpress has integrated the tag into the platform. So if you are blogging with Wordpress be sure to take advantage of the “TAGS”.

WidgetBucks is a useful tool for webmasters to display ads that are keyword targeted to the content. It detects and analyzes the content of your website or blog to determine what product offers are most relevant to your audience. It combines affiliate marketing techniques with blog-based sidebar widgets. WidgetBucks is getting recognized as one of the Internet’s leading ad networks, according to the March 2008 comScore Media Metrix U.S. Ad Network report. According to Jeff Hacket, vice president sales at comScore, Inc., “The addition of WidgetBucks in our March 2008 report underscores the growth of niche ad networks and the role widgets are beginning to play in online advertising.”
Publishers will soon be able to earn money through interactive travel, pay-per-call and local ad widgets (currently in private beta), and later this quarter, real estate, auto and text link ad widgets.
WidgetBucks announced the expansion of its ad widget network through agreements with BlueLithium and Marchex. The two deals touch on key growth areas for WidgetBucks: premium CPM display advertising to its publisher base and expanding distribution of CPC product ad widgets
