One of our faithful State Departments’ concerned employees, Hillary Rodham Clinton, is spending an OUTRAGEOUS $5.4 million budget to buy fine crystal stemware for the American embassies. Worse yet this $5.4 million dollars will not trickle through the American economy because the supplier will be subcontracted to a Swedish firm.
As of March 9, 2010, the official debt of the United States government is $12.6 trillion ($12,552,703,515,296).
That is $40,887 for every person living in the U.S.
According to the 2008 Census an estimated 13.2 percent of the U.S. population had income below the poverty threshold.
In these extremely difficult economic times, when most Americans are tightening their household budgets, concerned about the future and welfare of their families, looking at an astronomically increasing national debt and the almost certain collapse of the US dollar .. WHY is our government spending $5.4 million dollars on crystal stemware?
Is it so they can sit back with other dignitaries and sip wine and discuss how many ways they can screw us over? Is it Hilary Clinton’s agenda to make sure we stay in debt and poverty? Is this crystal stemware a necessary expense (coming out of OUR pockets) that is crucial to the recovery of the recession? Did WE THE PEOPLE approve this expense?
Plain and simple, IT’S OUTRAGEOUS!
