Recently a law suit was won against Bayer AG because they contaminated more than 30 percent of all rice cropland in the United States with an experimental strain of rice not approved for human consumption. This experimental stain is a genetically modified crop and the contamination to our “good” crops has made them unsuitable for export. The GMO crop was modified so that it would be resistant to Bayer AG’s Liberty-brand herbicide.
So much for amber waves of grain …. Thanks Bayer AG and Monsanto … Genetically Modified Crops should be outlawed.
