Doomsayers want us to believe that 2012 is the end of the world. That is a fear based opinion … I do not operate in fear, but in love. I believe that 2012 is the beginning of the world. I should stand on street corners with a sign saying “THE BEGINNING IS NEAR!”.
But you say, the Mayan Calendar ends on December 21st, 2012! What do the Mayans say about their own calendar?
Both the Mayans and the Hopis regard this time as a time of transition, not the end of the world. They believe we are passing from one “world age” to another. The 26,000 year Precession of the Equinoxes cycle. A new beginning. The creation of a new World.
Many scholars believe that even our DNA is being transformed. That we are experiencing a cosmic transformation that is being brought about by a galactic alignment. That this is a cyclical event and our generation will see it come to fruition in this present history. This is the great revealing of our true identity, the veil (spoken of in Revelations) is being lifted and we shall “see” who we really are .. divine beings and creators. An awakening to our interconnectedness to each other and all the universe.
If we just get to know who we really are and approach each moment with love, respect, tolerance, sharing, gratitude and forgiveness; this time of transformation will be easier to experience. If we approach it with fear, anger, confusion or greed it will be a very difficult process. Think about that. If you lived each day in a positive way, how much better you would feel about yourself and your interaction with others (regardless of what the future may have in store for us).
