News Quest: VIRAL MARKETING
I have the viral marketing bug and I don’t want a cure! What is Viral Marketing? Viral Marketing simply is a way to market an idea, product or information with lightening speed. It duplicates itself and spreads “like a virus” and thus the name.
Don’t confuse it with a computer virus which will harm or even destroy the information on your computer. It is not harmful. It was only a name given to this type of marketing because it’s like gossip and the word is spread quickly.
But just like gossip, it must be “buzz worthy”. In other words, it must be interesting enough that one person will pass it on to a friend, and that friend passes it on to several of their friends and it goes on spreading like … a virus !
If you want to use the viral marketing technique you either have to have a product, idea or information that will be of value to many different people. By giving it away to them, and IF they find it valuable, they will give it away to someone else. There can be an incentive attached, that if they do give it away then they will receive something extra and perhaps even more valuable.
That is the key: It MUST be something of value that people are looking for and want.
So how can viral marketing help if you are giving away something for free?
1. It builds a relationship, if you give someone something of value they will be interested in your other offers
2. It can be a carrot on a stick, that gets them to join your membership site, group, or affiliate program.
That’s the basics. Here’s a great example of viral marketing:

So you’ve created a website and you want to get noticed in the searches on Google. How does that happen exactly? You can’t just invite Google over for dinner and sit down and discuss your website. You have to know what Google wants and entice it to come to your site with the right bait. Bear in mind that Google does play hard to get, but if you know what Google likes and dislikes you’ll have a better chance at getting a “slurp”.
First it’s important to know what Google doesn’t want … what it will turn it’s back on and not index. That will save you a lot of time by creating your website optimized for the search engines instead of finding out later and having to make huge revisions.
5 Things that WON’T get you indexed by the search engines:

Proper meta keywords and meta descriptions should be refined and placed on every page of your website. This should be done prior to driving traffic to your site.
Your page title, meta tags and meta description should have good relevancy to each other in order to be effective with the search engines. In addition if you have a niche site the keywords should reflect that niche and used in the title. This will help in determining your rank in serps.
Google’s Webmaster Information https://www.google.com/adsense/adsense-resources
has the most up-to-date techniques on website optimization, guidelines on how to get your website indexed, and publisher tools. This information is free and you should take advantage of the in depth resources provided.
The most important part of keywords is FOCUS. You need to refine your keywords to the ones that are most appropriate to your content. In addition, getting traffic from keywords will only happen if you use the ones that are not over saturated. Good keyword research is paramount in addition to providing well written pages that clearly and accurately describe your content.
Keywords should reflect content and in turn content, should not only contain your keywords, but accurately reflect them throughout. However, your content needs to be quality content and not just a bunch of gibberish with some prime keywords. Your visitors will not stay on your page long if they see that you are just fishing for clicks.
If you create a website around a subject that you are passionate about you will succeed. If you do your homework and research the most appropriate keywords for your site then the title and meta tags will fall into place.

Todays News Quest : Video Marketing
I’ve been in online marketing for well over 10 years. I have had a lot of success and a lot of failures. I have learned, and I am still learning, what works and what doesn’t work. In addition, the world of IM or internet marketing has evolved and changed.
Why the change? Basically because people, the viewers of the internet, and ultimately the buyers, get bored with the same old stuff. They become inured to advertising tactics when they see the same thing over and over again.
Internet marketing started out with banner and text ads. Still effective but not as eye catching. I know I ignore most banner ads unless it has a word or picture that catches my eye. And that will only happen if my mind registers it as something of interest to me.
Internet marketing has gone through many developmental stages. If you don’t keep up with what is working in today’s internet marketing techniques and keep ahead of the competition, you aren’t going to make any money. Today the current hot marketing technique is video marketing. You have probably seen videos that were informational ads. It works because it is interesting.
Whether it is placed on You Tube that has a huge visitor base or on your own website it is an extremely good way of marketing your product. It can sky rocket your profits. Streaming video is THE avant-garde marketing tool in todays IM community. All the marketing gurus are using it and reaping good results and money.
But, what if you are (like me) reluctant to create your own streaming video to market products? There is a solution. I found a program that not only has created the streaming video for you but also incorporates the hottest selling products on the internet today and has them built in so that you can capitalize on the phenomenal grass roots growth of video marketing. It puts your income on complete auto-pilot. You can try it here for FREE ( I love to try new things that MAKE ME MONEY !)
